#RipplesForHope2022: A Historic Firsts for the Filipino Kpop Community.

Last November 26, 2022. Pulp Live World in partnership with The Ripple Society brought a day and evening event to the MOA Arena, which fostered friendship and camaraderie between fandoms and highlighted the warm relationship between the Filipino K-pop community and their idols. 

#RipplesForHope2022 is the first ever event in the Philippines which provided a venue to different fandoms to be able to enjoy K-pop together with a mix of friendly competitions through games. 

The event was graced by three K-pop acts loved by many fans, Everglow, Momoland and AkMu

Everglow opened the set of performances with their powerful choreography from their hit song La Di Da.  The fans of course have provided their best chants and cheers as they welcome the group to the country for the 1st time.

Then again, Everglow came prepared with their Filipino speaking skills, sharing how they feel about their excitement coming to Manila. 

Everglow performed a total of 4 songs, including Dun Dun, Pirate, and Adios.

Momoland performed after, providing a sweet yet warm performance for the Merry-Go-Rounds in the audience. During the ment, the group has shared how they are extremely happy as to how the Philippines receives them with the best kind of love only, even if it has been their 3rd time around in the country.

Momoland performed a total of 5 songs, Yummy Yummy Love, Ready or Not, Wrap Me in Plastic, Bboom Bboom and BAAM.

Lastly, the duo who fans waited for 8 years to see them come, AkMu performed WITH THEIR VERY OWN LIVE BAND, and showcased their very popular live vocals. The MOA Arena shook with the loud cheers and the singing of the audience, especially during the Dinosaur performance.

During the ment, Lee Suhyun, shared about not feeling distant despite it’s their first time to perform in Manila, as they have been communicating with their Filipino fans through social media. The duo performed a total of 11 songs, some of which are: 200%, Nakka, Last Goodbye and Give Love.

Prior to the evening concert festival a “sportsfest” competition was held between 19 participating fan clubs, merged to form 12 different teams. Hosted by Ms. Kring Kim, the 12 teams participated over several games such as Group Jumping Rope, Obstacle Race and Trip to Jerusalem. The winning teams shall receive complimentary tickets to any Pulp Live World concert in the Philippines until May 2023. 

The winning teams and their prizes are as follows:

  • Team PinkDay: Lower Box Tickets
  • Team Seventeen: Upper Box Tickets
