With stress and fatigue taking a toll due to a busy week, I looked forward to Park Eun Bin saving me from drowning and carrying me back to the shore. True enough, I found myself grinning because of the therapeutic atmosphere the actress engulfed me and her fans with throughout her Aromagicare Fan Meet in Manila.
Much like Woo Young Woo’s motormouth when it comes to whales and dolphins, I will never stop raving about the night I saw Eun Bin face-to-face at the New Frontier Theater.
Plunge right in as I take you to a trip to one of the best fan meets I have ever been to. I’m still in love!
A CHARMING ENTRANCE
When Denise Laurel (the event’s host) came out to hype up the crowd, I knew that the time was close.
Denise went backstage. Lights went off. Then, after a few seconds…
A lady wearing a peach dress embossed with rose buds and petals took the stage.
*Cue Cupid (Twin Version) by FIFTY FIFTY*
As soon as she entered singing, the roman god of love immediately took his bow and arrow and shot me through the heart.
She did not even have to try. A little dance, smile, wink, and sway of the hands were enough to knock me off my feet at just the beginning of the fan meet.
THOUGHTFUL OF HER FANS
In her return to the Philippines, I felt her excitement in her cheerfulness and connection with Filo Bingos. She longed to come back here.
“Mabuhay! Ako po si Park Eun Bin! Ikinagagalak kong makita kayo. Na-miss ko kayo!” she said in Filipino.
When asked about what she looks forward to in her fan meet, the Extraordinary Attorney Woo actress said that her priority was to make moments that she and her fans would not forget, “Pinakaimportante sa akin siyempre, gagawa tayo ng memory between you and me.”
Cheers poured out from one fan to another (even before the event started) that it concerned her a little bit.
“Sa totoo lang worried ako sa boses niyo. Okay lang ba kayo?” she asked jokingly.
The fans shouted “YES!” in unison.
Park Eun Bin was right in front of you. You would be more than okay? Right?
“BONGGA! Kung anong gusto niyo, iyon dun ang gusto ko,” she assured.
If that is not sign of a strong bond with her supporters, I don’t know what is.
KNOWING EUN BIN BETTER
As a new fan of Eun Bin, this part was fun for me. It was like Attorney Woo talking about whale and dolphin information that I don’t know yet. She answered questions from fans that helped us know her a little better, and her answers made me realize that we’re much more alike than I thought.
In a fast-talk-esque Q&A portion, she chose to sleep all day than eat in a buffet, have no internet than a low battery phone, travel free for five years than own a fully paid house and many more. Here is the funniest one though: she would want to be invisible than to have the ability to fly. Why? Because she’ll go to a place where she’s being talked about.
In another question, Denise asked her about how she overcomes the difficulties in life. For Aromagicare’s first Korean brand ambassador, she just ‘goes with flow’ and faces them head on.
“When I encounter something difficult, I just go with the flow. I just try to face it.” she said.
She also gave words of inspiration, adding that even though you get a lot of support, it is you who will face those challenges in the end.
BIN THERE DONE THAT
In this segment, the actress looked back at when she won the 2023 Baeksang Awards Arts Awards Grad Prize for Television in Korea. She told everyone how happy she was that she finally made her dream come true, and it was all because of the fans’ support. She had worked hard for the Daesang Award for it since she was 5 years old, and it bore fruit.
WINNING THE FANS’ HEARTS
What’s a fan meet without games? In here, it didn’t matter if she won or not, she just wanted to have fun with her fans.
The actress gave out signed items to the winners with the oldest fan receiving a personalized bracelet, while the youngest one getting a tote bag with Eun Bin’s rabbit painting on it. Not only that, some even had the chance to hug and take a selfie with the her.
There’s more! Kapuso stars Ken Chan (Aromagicare brand ambassador) and Rabiya Mateo were also in attendance as they played a puzzle game.
However, if one is to ask me about the best part of the games, it’s still the Daesang awardee’s concern for the fans. She asked them if they were having a good time, and she even danced to K-Pop songs while the contestants were playing. Why? They thought that all eyes would be on them, so the extraordinary attorney wanted lessen the pressure.
When she said this, it was again a proof of how valuable her fans are to her and vice versa.
During the games, one young fan even went near the stage to appreciate the actress for bringing inspiration with her last drama.
BEAUTIFUL LIKE A FLOWER
I have never been an artistic person, so when I see one, I am amazed (and a little jelly 😂) by the talent and skill.
There’s no doubt about Eun Bin’s excellence in acting, but her flower-arranging skill is just as superb. The final result was perfect, just like her.
LOVE EXCHANGE
When the fan meet was coming to a close, I felt a little sad. I didn’t want get out of the calming and healing atmosphere. I wished to be there forever, and I’m sure the fans did too. Unfortunately, that’s not how things go.
Nearing the end, Bingos gifted the lovely actress a fan-made video that made her want to cry. But she chose not to, because for her, all the achievements and this fan meet were worth celebrating.
Now for the final act, Eun Bin sang a song by MYMP, reminding everybody in the red walls of the New Frontier Theater that all the love she has is Especially for You, Bingos.
Bonus? I was given a VIP ticket so I had the chance to wave good bye to one of the most beautiful human beings on earth.
As I left NFT, I could truly say that my stress was relieved and I was ready to face another week ahead. Just like whales having exceptional memory, I too will never forget the night I experienced the soothing Park Eun Bin Therapy.
