GMMTV has been the home of a number of well-known Thai BL shows. Producing many on-screen couples that effortlessly won the hearts of many fans, their actors have long been actively producing series or variety programs together, including fanmeets and concerts.
Thus, the news that Off Jumpol, Gun Atthaphan, Tay Tawan, and New Thitipoom would be attending their first Fanmeeting: Beluca in Manila has the Thai BL community thrilled.
Let’s take a brief look at the shows that helped them become globally famous , as well as some of their upcoming projects!
TAYNEW
Tay Tawan and New Thitipoom, better known as TayNew, rose to popularity in the entertainment industry with their characters Pete and Kao in the series Kiss Me Again (2018) and Dark Blue Kiss (2019). In this drama, two couples must overcome several obstacles in order to spend time with one other.
Following the popularity of DBK, fans of Polca have been waiting eagerly for another series from the two. This year, they will return with Cherry Magic, which is an adaptation of the manga series “30-sai made Dotei Da to Mahotsukai ni Nareru rashii.”
Last GMMTV 2024 Up & Above Part 1, it was announced that TayNew is also having a series in 2024 called Peaceful Property Series, an extra treat for all Polcas!
OFFGUN
Together, Off Jumpol and Gun Attaphan became well-known for their roles as Pick and Rome in the television series “Senior Secret Love: Puppy Honey“. In the 2019 television series Theory of Love, they established their chemistry as Khai and Third, and in the 2021 series Not Me, they demonstrated their extraordinary acting abilities and unveiled a darker, more dramatic side to their playing.
On November 26, 2023, the on-screen duo will return with Cooking Crush, an adaptation of iJune4S’s novel “Love Course!” เสื้อกาวน์รุกเสื้อกุ๊กรั. It was revealed in the most recent broadcast of GMMTV 2024 Up & Above Part 1 that OffGun would be having another series in 2024, which will finally have an office romance genre, The Trainee Series!
OGTN not only showed chemistry in every role they played in their series, but also demonstrated chemistry and solid friendship in real life. The four are known to be very friendly and fun with each other, giving each other social media shoutouts and constantly supporting each other’s activities, giving fans another reason to love and respect them with the same dedication!
Beluca 1st Fanmeeting is set to be held this December 16 at the New Frontier Theater. Tickets are still available through Ticketnet online and nationwide outlets!
