The return to the Philippines of Thai actresses Freen Sarocha and Becky Armstrong, along with Looknam Orntara Poolsak and Heng Asavarid Pinitkanjanapun, for the ‘The Debutante: A watch party for the uncut final episode of GAP The Series’, last Sunday, February 12 at the SM North Edsa Skydome, was certainly a day to remember for all the GL fans out there!

Definitely one of the warmest welcomes for Thai actors, all of them were surprised by how large the GAP The Series fandom has grown in the Philippines. Aside from the sold-out event, there were many fans who had waited all day to see the cast!
The uncut finale of GAP The Series was, of course, the event’s most anticipated highlight, especially the wedding scene! Fans couldn’t help but feel emotional and overjoyed when they saw Khun Sam and Mon’s happy ending.
FreenBecky wearing their wedding dress at the event was one of the most breathtaking moments fans witnessed that night! In fact, Freen has openly stated that the wedding scene is her favorite scene in the series!
One of the most anticipated and requested moments by fans was Freen and Becky performing two particular songs. And their wishes came true! Freen performed “Give Me Your Forever,” and Becky performed “Pano” by Zack Tabudlo. It was no secret that she adored his songs!
Fans also had the opportunity to get to know the ladies better as a Q&A session was held during which they answered some of the fans’ questions!
A fan project created by their fans surprised Freen and Becky more than halfway through the event. After watching it, both of them became quite emotional. Both have stated numerous times how grateful they are for the positive response they have received from fans of GAP The Series.
The cast performed GAP The Series OSTs after the Q&A and the surprise fan project! They went down the stage several times to interact with the audience more closely! They truly are the sweetest!
Their sweet love for the fans was topped off when they went around and signed balls for them! Freen, Becky, Nam, and Heng continue to astound their Filipino fans! Everyone had an unforgettable evening, and they mentioned that they will return to the Philippines, which we’re sure everyone is looking forward to seeing! We can’t wait to see them again in a bigger venue!
GAP The Series was a game-changer, a bright color diving in and brightening up many people’s lives, giving them an extra spark, a comfort zone. As the first official Thai GL, it made many fans feel included, safe, at ease, and very happy. GAP The Series has changed our world, from grey to pink.
