Have you ever attended a prom that left you breathless and filled with unforgettable memories? Well, brace yourselves because the Prom Queens of South Korea, none other than the sensational IVE members – Gaeul, Yujin, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz, and Leeseo – took us on an extraordinary journey that surpassed all expectations, giving us the best prom ever!

Let’s dive right into the magical moments that made this prom truly majestic!

THE MAGNIFICENT ENTRANCE

Decked out in adorable uniform-like outfits, IVE made a grand entrance at the prestigious Smart Araneta Coliseum on June 17, 2023. They set the stage ablaze with their chart-topping hit song, ‘After Like.’ The night continued with captivating performances of ‘Take It,’ ‘My Satisfaction,’ and ‘Royal.’

THE SPELLBINDING CHARM OF IVE

The magic of IVE is undeniably real! Each member of the group adorably introduced themselves one by one, enchanting us with their charisma. To our delight, they even impressed the crowd by showcasing their grasp of Filipino words and phrases.

A special segment hosted by the beautiful Sam Oh brought out the competitive spirit in them as they were divided into three teams: Team Manila (Gaeul and Yujin), Team Halo-Halo (Wonyoung and Leeseo), and Team Couple (Rei and Liz).

AN EXTRAVAGANT GIFT FOR THE DIVES

Manila had the honor of being the first stop on IVE’s Asia tour, and we were privileged to witness an extravagant gift bestowed upon the dedicated Filipino DIVEs. Wonyoung and Rei dazzled the audience with their performance of Meghan Trainor’s “Me Too,” while Yujin and Liz showcased their vocal prowess in a stunning cover of Jessie J’s “Flashlight.” Gaeul and Leeseo mesmerized everyone with their powerful rendition of Blackpink’s “Kill This Love.” 

Moreover, IVE treated their fans by performing songs from their latest album for the first time ever during the fan concert, including the mesmerizing tracks “Kitsch,” “Blue Blood,” “I AM,” and many more.

THE QUEENS OF THE EVENING

Although the fan concert itself was a mind-blowing experience, what truly captivated us was witnessing the six girls in flesh. Gaeul exuded confidence with every move, Yujin brought a breath of fresh air to the stage, Rei melted our hearts with her adorableness, Wonyoung looked ethereal in her performance, Liz‘s beauty left us in awe, and Leeseo shone brightly with her radiant presence. These incredible young women truly embodied the essence of prom queens, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts.

IVE gave us an unforgettable prom experience that exceeded all expectations. The moments we shared with them on that enchanting night will forever be etched in our memories. From the magical entrance to the breathtaking performances and the charismatic personalities of each member, this prom was truly a dream come true.
