“Gulf Kanawut”. That’s how the actor wants to be remembered. On the morning of October 2, 2022, Gulf made his charming presence known to the media as he graciously walked to the stage for his 1st Fan Meeting in Manila Press Conference held at the Novotel Manila Araneta City.
Upon entering the hall, everyone was simply stunned by his smile and mere presence. He looked incredibly handsome despite having little to no sleep from the flight he took from Thailand to Manila. Gulf answered questions from the media about what he wants to do in the future, future projects, his current playlist, what type of food he’s been wanting to try in the Philippines, and many more.

We roamed around Araneta, Gateway, and New Frontier Theater with the desire to look for Filipino Phiballs who’d like to say a few words for Gulf and to answer a few questions and as the afternoon arrived, the buzz around New Frontier Theater was getting louder as fans excitedly started to enter the venue for the fan meeting.
The sun has finally set and it’s time to welcome Gulf Kanawut for his 1st ever fan meeting in Manila with screams that could echo through the mountains as he makes a powerful entrance with his first rap performance of the night.
To keep the energy as high as when he entered the stage, Ms. Kring Kim graces us with her presence as the host for the evening. This was the beginning of the fun night that was in store for Gulf’s fans.

Gulf has stated from the morning’s press conference that he is interested in having a project with Filipino Star Sarah Geronimo, in which Ms. Kring hinted for Gulf to dance to the iconic ‘Tala’.
Gulf spelling out his name using his body
Funny enough, at first Gulf wasn’t answering the questions wrong or getting mistakes in the game. But as punishment to a game he lost, he has to spell out his name using his body. This sure made the venue fill up with screams as he tried his best to use his body to spell out his name.
Gulf serenades his fans
For Gulf’s next performance “Hold Me Tight”, he serenades his fans with his sweet sultry voice that surely made everyone melt.
Gulf dances to a Tiktok trend
Of course, what is a fan meeting without having the actor dance/sing to a tiktok trend.
He plays “sepak” for fans
Since the actor loves the sport football, he was tasked to kick a ‘sepak’ 5 times to gift fans signed balls. And of course he was motivated to win his fans the prize, he kicked the ‘sepak’ 12 times!
‘Popoy and Basha‘
As one of the activities for the night, Gulf was tasked to re-enact a scene from the famous Filipino movie, One More Chance. He indeed wow-ed the crowd with his acting, especially as the dialogues were in english.
Gulf in a ‘Barong Tagalog’
Barong tagalog is a national clothing used for formal occasions in the Philippines. Seeing Gulf wear a barong tagalog was truly a sight to see as he was dazzling!
