The Philippines is a place that Super Junior holds dear to their hearts. Happee Sy, an ELF and wife of PULP Live World’s CEO, was able to bring Super Junior to the Philippines for their first ever full concert, Super Show 2 way back on April 10, 2010 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. That’s 12 years ago and 12 years since a friendship between Super Junior and PH ELFs was created and made special. Is there a specific moment you remember in all shows that they did in Manila?

Why don’t we go back in time and reminisce on the bond Super Junior and PH ELFs created over the years? Let’s start with their first ever concert here in the Philippines, Super Show 2. This was their first ever full concert in the country since they debuted and they created many memories on stage with their Filipino fans. One of these memories was when they ganged up on Leeteuk, with water guns. These are moments that you cherish as this doesn’t really happen in all stops of their concerts.

Their 2nd concert, Super Show 3, happened a year after, on February 26, 2011. PH ELFs once again proved that they are the loudest! Right from the intro of the concert until the end, screams were never ending. Our lung capacity was indeed proven to be the best.

We’ve reached their 3rd show in the country way back in 2013, Super Show 5. This is also their first time performing their full concert in a bigger venue here in the Philippines, which happened to be the Mall of Asia Arena. During this time, Heechul had just gotten out of the military and they celebrated Donghae’s belated birthday on stage with their fans.

Super Show 7 happened on June 30, 2018. A huge gap from their last show in the Philippines then. Black Suit is a personal favorite of mine from amongst their discography and when they performed it here in Manila, it really made the fangirl in me squeal in delight.

Exactly 3 years ago, Super Show 8: Infinite Time commenced at the Mall of Asia Arena on December 15, 2019. We’ve got another moment where the leader was teased by the members. Donghae kissed Leeteuk’s head, Yesung and Eunhyuk playfully teased him while he sang.

Now as we approach their 6th concert in the Philippines, Super Show 9: Road in Manila, the anticipation that ELFs are having right now is heightened as there are only 2 days left. We truly can’t wait to see the boys perform on stage again after a long wait. What core memory could we get from the 2 day concert they will be having this weekend?
