STAYs finally got to see their favorite CHARMERs again when Stray Kids embarked on their 2-day world tour concert, MANIAC, on March 11 and 12, 2023.
Members Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. recently held the Stray Kids Fan Meet in Manila on January 20, 2023 at MOA Arena by BENCH. But this time, they were back for their second concert in the country in nearly four years!
The MANIAC Tour has many heartwarming and memorable moments that make STAYs STAY even more with Stray Kids today, tomorrow, and ALWAYS.
Stray Kids’ return is significant not only because they performed for two days, but also because their stage is the country’s largest and most innovative production ever seen at a K-pop concert!
The Filipino crowd never fails to disappoint! STAYs were brimming with enthusiasm as they greeted the members! Indeed, according to the leader Bangchan, this is the most energetic crowd they have seen on any of their tours.
The live band that accompanied Stray Kids during some of their performances was one of the night’s highlights! With microphones on, the boys performed setlist after setlist! Their performances, which were already so pumped up and loud, became even more intense and hyped up thanks to the live band!
Another memorable moment was STAYs duetting with Stray Kids while they sang along to their song “Waiting For Us.” Seungmin acknowledged them by saying they are so good at singing!
STAYs also remembered to wish Hyunjin a happy birthday! which, upon hearing the wishes of the fans, was extremely happy.
If you believe that Filipino STAYs have only surprised Stray Kids, think again. The STAYs were pleasantly surprised to hear leader Bangchan perform the well-known Filipino song Ikaw by Yeng Constantino. Furthermore, STAYs sang it again while Bangchan grinned broadly and held the microphone toward the audience. He stated that he likes this song.
This wasn’t the only thing, but Stray Kids did their best to communicate with Filipino fans. Look at them, they’re speaking Tagalog!
This one, on the other hand, is unsurprising: how leader Bangchan always made sure to encourage the fanbase with kind words and reassurance. He took a moment to tell the STAYs that they are doing a good job!
Everyone made sure to participate in the STAYs fan project as a way of giving back to Stray Kids for all their love and support, and the boys have expressed how much they appreciate the fan surprises. Bangchan smiled as he read aloud the banner that said “Narito kami, ang inyong tahanan”.
Aside from the fun and partying, everyone was emotional as the concert approached and ended with all of these memorable moments from the two-day event. Several times during the concert, they stated that they would return. They even asked the fans jokingly if they wanted to see them again! STAYs, of course, would want to see them again!
Stray Kids gave their ALL IN during the MANIAC Tour, and STAYs just cannot explain this emotion seeing them live!
Stray Kids are such sweethearts! They did not end the concert there and then, but instead continued to interact with the audience until the very end. They made sure to include every fan on every floor of the MOA Arena, and they expressed their gratitude and happiness to be able to return here. And with that, we will undoubtedly see them, as Bangchan teased us before they exited the stage!
WAITING FOR STRAY KIDS was so worth it! Until we see a THUNDEROUS stage from them again!
