Since their debut in 2018, (G)I-dle has made it a point to leave their beloved Neverland in awe
with all their surprises. Trying different genres and concepts in each comeback have made it
possible for these girls to be deemed as one of Korea’s MOST VERSATILE groups.
If you agree, then I guess you’re in for a treat!
Let’s talk about the REASONS why (G)I-dle deserves ALL the hype. Starting with…
1. (G)I-dle has one of the MOST UNIQUE vocals
I know everyone who has heard them sing LIVE can agree that: (G)I-dle CAN SING! Their
powerful and clear voices register to their mics so well that they are always accused of lip
syncing. Well, who can blame them? Their live performances sound like studio recordings! Who
wouldn’t think that?
2. (G)I-dle’s VISUALS are a Chef’s Kiss
As they all say, (G)I-dle’s a group of VISUALS. Just take a good look at all their photos. Who
wouldn’t fall for faces like theirs? They can be cute, they can be alluring, they can be
sweet-looking, and they can be tomboys! Whatever style that may be, for sure, these girls can
rock them.
3. Producing Their OWN MUSIC. Who does that better than (G)I-dle?
When other groups work around a concept and make it their group’s identity of some sort,
(G)I-dle made sure they stand out. Most people recognize (G)I-dle as “pioneers” in making girl
group music beyond the stereotyped girly and pop narrative. They serve new and fresh concepts
that make us crave for more!
4. (G)I-dle serves GENRES
There’s not one genre that can define (G)I-dle. They have mastered to own every genre they
venture into. It’s like whatever the genre is, you just know, deep down, that it’s by (G)I-dle and
it’s something every Neverland is proud of.
5. (G)I-dle STAGE PRESENCE Lives Rent-Free in Our Minds
These queens can dance, and they never fail to disappoint. They can own the stage whenever
they want to. We sure can’t take our eyes off them when they start dancing.
