K-Pop fans in the Philippines, rejoice!

Following the success of BE YOU: The World will Adjust last July 22, 2022, which featured Red Velvet as one of its headlining artists, Neuwave Events and Productions is bringing back an unparalleled musical celebration in the country with BE YOU 2: The World will Care.

If you’re still on the fence whether or not to go to this event, then here are some reasons why you should certainly do so!

A FIRST IN THE PHILIPPINES

K-Pop royalty TVXQ and BoA are making their first live performance appearances in the Philippines after years of anticipation. K-Pop wouldn’t be where it is today without these two outstanding performers, as every OG fan can attest. Therefore, experiencing these fantastic artists live for the first time in the country is a must!

Both TVXQ and BOA made their debuts under SM Entertainment, and the enormous impact they had on the company and the Hallyu Wave is unfathomable. Epitaph, a Japanese extended play by TVXQ, was released earlier this year. One of the members, Changmin, made his first-ever solo comeback in January with his second mini album, “Devil,” which shot to the top of the iTunes charts in a number of countries around the world right after its release.  The group’s leader, Yunho, along with Lee Yeon Hee and Hong Jong Hyun, will allegedly make his drama comeback in “Race.”

Kwon Boah, popularly referred to as BoA, is the current director of SM Entertainment. As one of the most popular and influential Korean entertainers, she is without a doubt the Queen of K-Pop. BoA made appearances as a judge on K-pop Star (2011–2013), an actress in the television drama Listen to Love (2016), a host for Produce 101’s second season (2017), and a coach on The Voice of Korea’s third season.

On December 27, 2021, BoA was announced as a member of the supergroup GOT the Beat, and on January 3, 2022, they released their first single, “Step Back.”

BoA recently released her new mini album, “Forgive Me,” along with a music video, with the same name as the title track, which she helped to write and compose.

THE GREAT RETURN

One utterance of their group name is all it takes for the world to recognize them. Xiumin and Chen, two EXO members, are coming back to the Philippines for the first time since MBC Show Champion in 2018 and EXplOration concert tour in 2019. Who wouldn’t want to blow this opportunity? EXO-Ls most definitely shouldn’t!

Along with Baekhyun, Chen and Xiumin are both members of the EXO-CBX sub-unit, which was established by SM Entertainment in 2016. In addition, Xiumin made his eagerly anticipated solo debut with “Brand New.” While Chen has returned with his third solo mini-album, “Last Scene.”  See what you’ll be missing by checking them out below!

UNMATCHED LINE UP

Unmatched group of artists have come together for this show to meet and greet their Filipino fans. The SMTOWN family with BoA, UKNOW and MAX CHANGMIN of TVXQ!, EXO’s XIUMIN and CHEN have gathered as one. Of course, local performers like Lukas Magallano, Lady Pipay, G22, Ian Veneracion, and Pilita Corrales are also coming to rejoice with the Filipino fans!
