The first-ever fan meeting with “James” Supamongkon Wongwisut and “Net” Siraphop Manithikhun, stars of the Thai BL series “Bed Friend,” took place last Saturday at 4 PM in the SM North Edsa Skydome.
Despite the fact that their series aired earlier this year, “Bed Friends” made an immediate impact on BL fans all over the world, propelling their loveteam to the top of the list of the year’s most popular BL couples. Net and James were finally seen by the Filipino fans, who greeted them with a tremendous amount of enthusiasm! With that, let’s look back on their first fan meeting in Manila!

There was an exciting reception from the audience as soon as the production team set up the bed on stage, which is a signature of Bed Friend and King and Uea, characters from the Bed Friend Series! NetJames kicked off the fanmeet with ‘Feel Fan,’ one of their series’ theme songs.
The actors tried their best to speak to the fans in Tagalog as they introduced themselves. Additionally, Net and James performed several traditional Filipino games with a modern twist, like Meow, Meow, Hooray and Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Cat.
The show was made even more spectacular by the appearance on stage of Boss Chaikamon, a special guest from the “Love in the Air” series, performing his brand-new song, “Yeongwonhi (I Love You Forever).” In an interview with NetJames, they talked about how their friendship began and stated that it began in South Korea! The actors will star in the upcoming Domundi series, “Zomvivor,” together!
The outpouring of passion from the Filipino crowd was unarguably striking, as Net and James expressed how they got astonished by it. Furthermore, despite the end of Bed Friend, they expressed appreciation to the fans for their support and encouraged viewers to look forward to their forthcoming projects.
A special fan project was presented to NetJames at the conclusion of the show as a gift from the fans expressing their appreciation and affection for the two performers! Net and James extended special thanks to their fans for the surprise video while wearing Bagong Tagalog!
The fan meeting concluded emotionally as Net and James surprised the audience with a full version of Yeng Constantino’s song “Hawak Kamay,” showing both their vocal abilities and the sentimental lyrics of the song. The actors’ flawless singing made the audience members like them even more for mastering a Tagalog song!
The NetJames 1st Fanmeeting in Manila, which brought together Net, James, together with Boss and their Filipino fans, as well as fans from other countries who traveled all the way to Skydome to catch both stars, was a sure success. We are looking forward to seeing their upcoming projects and hope to see them again at future events.
