EXO’s main rapper, Park Chanyeol, is back in the Philippines for the third time after his last visit two months ago. Penshoppe’s newest brand ambassador met EXO-Ls and Yeolmaes in the recent fan meeting held on December 16, 2023, at the SM Mall of Asia.
As an EXO-L, I can’t describe how worth it the fan meeting was. Its been days already, but the memories still linger. The smiles are still there on everyone’s face, and the thought of “when will be next?”. Join me as we cherish the moment with our Cherry Prince!

Chanyeol held a press conference at the Conrad a few hours prior to his fan meeting. He talked about what he loves about Penshoppe and how the style fits him: “I liked relaxed fit t-shirt of Penshoppe and I have this cloth in different colors and I also think that to complete the fashion you really need confidence. You know we need to have positive mindset to express ourselves,” he stated.
He mentioned that he often didn’t talk about fashion and style, so he is happy to be able to share this with everyone. He is also looking forward to different campaigns.
EXO’s MAIN RAPPER
We all know that Chanyeol is EXO’s main rapper, and we are really curious if he would like to exchange for a position with any EXO member: “Every members of us have charming points and those are the things that can actually express themselves very well. So I think I’m beautiful as me and myself as well and I would like to choose not to switch with anyone.”
EXO-Ls and YEOLMAES
Chanyeol shares what excites him in connecting with Filipino fans in person: “You know I’ve been to the Philippines with Sehun for my fan concert as well and you know thru various occasions, I was able to visit here and every time I could visit, I think Filipino fans are very passionate;” he said. He also added that EXO-Ls greetings made him excited to come back here.
When he was asked on advice for fans who are struggling. He said “Do as you wish. Whether it is your profession or relationship with other people. Follow your heart because whenever you do you will never regret about it.”
CHANYEOL AT THE ARENA
Fans were singing while waiting for the Cherry Prince. Even I was really excited for his performance while holding my Eribong (EXO Lightstick) up high. The crowd echoed with cheers when the lights went out and Chanyeol lit up the stage in his first performance, “Nothin’”.
On one of the segments, he danced to the chorus of EXO’s hit songs “Growl,” “Love Shot,” and “MAMA“; he also did fast talk and danced to the first few steps of “First Snow,” which made my heart melt. I know I’m not the only EXO-L waiting for all the members to follow the viral dance craze on social media.
The applause intensified when Chanyeol repeated “Mahal Kita” with various expressions. His idea of being “strong” was showing his biceps. For EXO-Ls, this is most likely one of the highlights of the event.
As gift for fans, he designed three limited edition Penshoppe shirts naming Cherry, Dog, and Best of the World. He also performed his other solo songs SSWF, and Tomorrow, and Yeng Constantino’s Hawak Kamay.
The arena was filled with “Rainbow Ocean” as we held our eribong high before calling his fan meeting to an end. A surprise video greeting prepared by fans was also played on the screen. Chanyeol laughed and told the fans, “No! Not yet!” when a young EXO-L called him “Uncle Chanyeol.”
Thanking EXO-Ls and performing his song “Good Enough,” he brought the fan meeting to a close.
Chanyeol really has this charming personality. He promptly agrees and responds to all of the questions, as if he understands Filipino. Overall, we got to know Chanyeol better in terms of his fashion style and as a solo artist, and I exited the arena smiling with a heart full of joy.
