The 20th of January 2024 at SM Skydome was filled with a rush of excitement as MaxNat held their first fan meeting of ‘Naughty Babe’ in Manila. MaxNat kept the fans on their toes with their undeniable chemistry and care for each other, which is the same on and off stage as stated by Max, leaving the fans feeling giddy. They expressed their joy for their return to the Philippines, as this is their second time in the country following their ‘Cutie Pie’ fanmeet.
PRESS CONFERENCE
MaxNat approached the presscon with their charisma and playful attitude, which made the atmosphere light and enjoyable. Nat spoke of his gratitude for the hype of the Filipino heartdisks is giving, which increases his excitement to see their fans.
The press conference continued with a series of questions, and we got the chance to ask what their profession would be if they weren’t an actor.
Max answered first with being a youtuber who does travel as he is interested in exploring the world and learning many things.
MAX: “I would like to do the Youtuber in term of tour. You know travel the world because I would like to go so many places and I like to explore.. The reason for that is if you be a Youtuber, you can explore the world, and you can learn culture, thing, tourists spots, and also the people in that country.”
On the other hand, Nat expressed that he’d be a business owner or a professional musician who plays a piano, revealing his interest to venture into this in the future.
NAT: “I would like to have my own business and on the top of that I really like to study more on music. I want to do more of the piano and I would like to have a band and become a professional musician in the future.”
Their answers genuinely showed how passionate they are to becoming their better selves despite their popularity now, hearing that they still dream of other things inspired me to also work hard and outdo myself.
MEETING THE FILO HEARTDISKS
The venue is now filled with Filipino Heartdisks whose excitement has reached its peak. With their angelic voices, MaxNat warmed up the venue with their OST ‘Love x 3’. Max’s smooth vocals intertwined flawlessly with Nat’s soulful melodies, creating a musical synergy that left the audience spellbound.
With that breath taking opening performance, MaxNat launched into a series of interactive segments, talking to fans, and inviting lucky heartdisks onto the stage to participate in different games.
In one segment called ‘Meet the Babe’, they were taught different Filipino words. When told by the host, “Max is everyone’s boyfriend. Charot! because he only belongs to Nat.” Both Max and Nat now knowing the meaning of ‘charot’, Max seconded with “It’s not a joke.”
This caused fans to squeal. Nat was astonished, but later he teased the fans, “He is not everyone’s boyfriend.” It caused more of an uproar in the venue with the ‘kilig’ it brought. Filipino hearts can truly agree that it is a big ‘Sana All! ’.
The energy in the venue soared to new heights as MaxNat delved into a medley of their most beloved OST songs. Max performance of ‘From Now On’, transported everyone into dreamy land, touching into the souls of everyone present.
Nat followed with his set ‘Naughty Boy’, creating a vibrant and lively vibe on the stage.
As the song was coming to an end, Max joined Nat dancing together with their cute choreography that left the fans with a wave of emotions.
The night was filled with surprises from MaxNat, but of course Filipino Heartdisks won’t lose. The big screen showed the video fan project for MaxNat which holds the fans gratitude and best wishes for the actors.
A bittersweet feeling is in the air as the end of the fan meet is nearing but surely MaxNAt won’t lose to their fans as their last note echoed in the venue singing ‘Hanap-Hanap’ a song by James Reid and Nadine Lustre. The bitter-sweet emotions now replaced with joy and souls uplifted with their last performance.
MaxNat showcased their playful sides, engaging with their heartdisks on a personal level. It was a night of shared joy and unforgettable memories. The Naughty Babe 1st Fanmeet in Manila became an unforgettable chapter in their journey—a chapter filled with love, passion, and an unbreakable bond between artists and their devoted heartdisks.
It was a perfect night played by the generous organizers who made the event possible and left the fans with a synchronized perfect harmony with that melodious evening. Forever carrying in their hearts a boundless bliss that no distance can ever divide.
