“This is my first time having a fan meeting and of course to see my fans as an actress. I am really happy to see a lot of banners being waved, and everyone is welcoming me. Some of the fans are even shouting the names of the character I portrayed and that is very touching,” she said during her press conference held at the Novotel Manila.

The Queen of Tears star shared how grateful she is for the appreciation of the fans for all the characters she portrayed, “it’s very fulfilling that a lot of the fans remembered the name of the character roles I played on my previous dramas. Instead of just calling me Kim Ji Won, the fans are appreciating the different roles I am portraying. As an actress, it is truly fulfilling.”

She picked ‘ thriller’ when asked if there was another genre she wanted to try, “Romantic comedy is one of my favorite but if I could be given a chance to pick another genre. It would be something very different like a ‘thriller’ maybe and I believe my fans would be amazed to see me in different role,” she said.

Jiwon thanked the staff, directors, and co-actors for helping her deliver her acting smoothly. In Addition, she said that she makes sure to study the script to ensure that the scenario plays out flawlessly. She also shared some interesting trivia, like her current hobby of building Lego roses and her idea of what she would do if she weren’t an actress—an “emoticon creator.”

Kim Ji Won bid goodbye to the members of the Philippine press, wishing everyone to stay healthy.

Hosted by Kring Kim, Jiwon participated in the first segment and enthusiastically described each song she listened to while immersing herself in each character she played. In Descendants of The Sun, she listened to “I Always Miss You” by Lee Sun Hee and “Shining” by Kim Yun A for My Liberation Notes.

Fans couldn’t help but to chant the iconic “Eyyy” when “We Fight Ourselves” by Epik High was played on stage as the song she listened for Queen of Tears. She later described the hand gesture as cute and fun.

Kim Ji Won is noted for playing several characters with distinct styles. Among the characters she portrayed, she picked the style of Hong Hae In as the winner for the segment “styling preference.” She then revealed that she wore more than 100 outfits in the series, “When I was portraying the character Hong Hae In, I had fun ’cause it has a vast selection of styling.”

When asked about her favored styling, she said, “Well, for every day, I just want something comfortable and simple.” She also provided a fascinating detail about her haircut in “The Heirs,” saying, “People should not see my emotions, so my eyebrow was covered.”

The next segment allowed the fans to learn a lot more about Kim Ji Won. It is more than simply a blessing; it has also served as a connection between Jiwon and her fans. She mentioned that the three things she wanted to do were travel, take pottery class, and go to an amusement park and take her family with her on a trip if she had the chance. She even said that she wanted to try the Filipino cheese and ube flavored ice cream when she goes back in the Philippines.

The charismatic actress also discussed her thoughts on beginning to learn how to cook since recently she’s been watching these videos online. She added that when she couldn’t sleep, she would watch adorable dog videos and listen to the sound of rain. When asked about her preference between a 10-year-old Kim Ji Won or ten Jiwons, fans teased her to choose the ten Jiwon so she laughed and replied that she would leave one Jiwon in Manila.

For her TMI that day, she revealed that she had meat for lunch, and they had used a hairdryer when her skirt in the backstage was splashed with little water.

Kim Ji Won once again charmed the crowd when she showcased her sweet vocals with her performance of “From Bottom of My Heart.” The fans even fell harder when her VCR of dancing to 2PM’s “My House” was played. Who would not fall in love with the talented Jiwonie?

It is truly not a dream that Kim Ji Won is finally in Manila and has witnessed the love of her Filo fans. She admitted that she had not expected fans to sing for her and that Filo fans made her cry, despite the fact that she does not cry easily.

She showed her gratitude for the fans’ endearing support, saying, “Thank you so much, your energy is amazing; I will cherish this for a long time.” She ended her first fan meeting in Manila with “Only” by Lee Hi. “This is my message to all of you,” she replied with a smile.
