Thai stars continue to dominate the Philippine live show scene as more “BL couples” visit the country. JimmySea and JoongDunk will be headlining the first “GMMTV FAN DAY 8 IN MANILA” happening this November 18, 2023, at The Podium Hall.
GMMTV’s “Fan Day” is a special event that features back-to-back fanmeetings featuring GMMTV artists. The tour has been to multiple countries including South Korea, Japan, and Cambodia with varying artist line-ups in each stop. After many requests from fans, a Philippine leg has been added, presented by CDM Entertainment.
For the Manila stop, Joong Archen Aydin and Dunk Natachai Boonprasert (dubbed JoongDunk) will have their fanmeeting at 2 PM on November 18. This will be followed by another fanmeeting at 7 PM, this time featuring Jimmy Jitaraphol Potiwihok and Sea Tawinan Anukoolprasert (dubbed JimmySea). There will be a gap between shows reserved for fansign benefits.
JoongDunk rose to fame after starring in “Star in My Mind,” a Boy’s Love drama that aired in 2022. The series was so popular that JoongDunk took home the “Best Couple of the Year” award at the Thailand Digital Awards.
Meanwhile, JimmySea also started making headlines in 2022 after taking the lead roles in “Vice Versa,” a fantasy drama about two individuals who were catapulted to an alternate universe. The series received a positive response and was even nominated for the “Best BL Series of the Year” category at the CBLO Awards.
It will be JoongDunk and JimmySea’s first fanmeeting event in the Philippines.
