The evening of January 25, 2025, was one to remember for fans of South Korean actor Hwang In Youp, as he brought his “In Love” fan meeting tour to the New Frontier Theater in Manila. The event was a night filled with memorable moments and incredible performances, making it a best experience for all HIYLIY!
Hwang In Youp captivated the audience with his stunning vocals, performing various songs, including the OST “Starlight” from his K-Drama Family by Choice, as well as his own covers of “Flowerpot” and the English classic “Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love for You.” His angelic voice mesmerized the crowd, leaving them completely enchanted by his performance.
One of the most memorable segments of the event was when Hwang In Youp shared personal photos with the fans. He carefully selected each photo and revealed fun facts behind them, giving fans an intimate glimpse into his life. The highlight was when he shared a private selfie, a rare and special moment exclusively for his Filipino fans.
The event also gave fans a chance to get closer to Hwang In Youp as he made his way around the theater, interacting with Filo-HIYLIY’s from various sections. Fans were thrilled at the opportunity to see him up close and even pose for pictures. His warm and approachable demeanor made each moment feel personal, making everyone feel lucky to be part of such an unforgettable experience.
The fan meeting also included a variety of fun games, including re-enactments of iconic K-Drama scenes, dance challenges, and more. These games allowed fans to engage with Hwang In Youp in a playful and meaningful way, wherein it strengthen the bond between him and HIYLIY. It was clear that Hwang In Youp deeply appreciates his fans, and his interactions throughout the night which reflected the love and respect.
Additionally, lucky fans received personal gifts from Hwang In Youp, including polaroids and roses. The best prize for everyone was the exclusive hi-touch session, where fans had the chance to meet him up close and hold hands with him. Special thanks to those fans who won that game against him! It was a night of pure joy and excitement.
