After less than two years, TAEYEON is returning to Manila bringing her sixth solo concert, Taeyeon Concert – The Tense in Manila, on March 29, 2025 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Kim Taeyeon, a South Korean singer born on March 9, 1989, debuted as a member, leader, and main vocalist of the Kpop girl group Girls’ Generation (SNSD) in 2007. Girls’ Generation is known for their hit songs “GEE,” “OH,” “THE BOYS,” “I GOT A BOY,” “LION HEART,” and “FOREVER 1.” She is also a member of Girls’ Generation TaeTiSeo, SM The Ballad, and Girls’ Generation OH!GG & Got the Beat.
Taeyeon, known for her powerhouse vocals, debuted as a solo artist in 2015, reaching number one on South Korea’s Gaon’ Digital Chart with her single “I.” She continued to dominate the charts with her next released “Rain,” “11:11,” “Fine,” and “Make Me Love You.” In 2018, she released her first Japanese digital single, “Stay,” followed by 2019 EP Voice, second studio album (2019) Purpose, third studio album INVU (2022), “To.X” in 2023, and her latest EP “Letter to Myself” that was released last November 2024.
