Earth Pirapat and Mix Sahaphap have known each other before they both got into the same agency, GMMTV. Their story went as far as when Mix was still in highschool. Earth and Mix are known to be such close friends that they do almost everything together, and they support each other in everything they do. Earth’s acting career started earlier than Mix’s did as Mix focused on his degree in Chulalongkorn University, which is Veterinary Medicine. The two first started working together in the acting industry with their BL series, A Tale of a Thousand Stars.

I first saw this series on YouTube while watching another Thai BL, Until We Meet Again. It must have been fate for me to come across the trailer of A Tale of a Thousand Stars.
The story of it goes with a volunteer teacher, Torfun dies due to a tragic accident. Her heart is then transplanted to Tian. Tian learns things about his heart donor’s life before the accident through a diary that she keeps. This diary holds her secrets, interests, and the promises she made about counting a thousand stars with a certain forest officer, Phupha. This results in Tian volunteering in the same place that Torfun did. There he met the officer that ultimately made the previous owner’s heart fall in love and in turn Tian too, fell for the handsome officer.
The emotions I felt as each episode progressed in this series was so surreal. Mix and Earth portrayed their characters so well that each scene they acted in felt real, and I could feel all their emotions. The story was unique to me as it was the first series with this type of plot, I’ve ever watched before. Despite it being Mix’s debut in the acting industry, he succeeded in portraying his character, Tian so well. Earth on the other hand, showed his skills in acting. With a few years of experience on his back, he was able to portray the character of Phupha so well. The chemistry they have off and on screen is another reason why this series is added to the list of series to watch.
This pair can also be seen in their other series like Cupid’s Last Wish, Moonlight Chicken, and Our Skyy 2.
