In Episode 2 of Last Twilight, Day and Mhok begin to overcome their initial animosity, building trust and understanding as they navigate their emotions. A pivotal moment occurs when Day accepts Mhok as his caregiver, marked by Mhok bringing home a new fish to accompany Day’s. This gesture symbolizes Mhok’s support, showing Day he’s no longer alone.
In Episode 3 of Last Twilight, the unforgettable moment occurs when Mhok steps out to buy water, only to return and find Day missing. Both search for each other in an emotionally charged way, and when they finally reunite, the scene is truly heartwarming.
In Episode 4, Day appears to show interest in Mhok by calling him “Phi” and expressing curiosity about his appearance. In one scene, we see Day trying to get closer to Mhok, unaware that he is awake.

At the end of the episode, Day and Mhok come together, but the most significant moment is when Day regains his eyesight. He is finally able to see his mom and Night again, and for the first time, he can also see Mhok—not as his last image, but as a new beginning.
