Awesome Play NFT Festival: A New Way of Watching Your Favorite Kpop Idols

Awesome Play NFT Festival is a 2-day virtual concert that makes use of Z-Planet to bring the whole concert experience into the comforts of your home. Day 2 lineup comprised of these groups and artists:

  • YONGYONG
  • MUSTB
  • HI-L
  • TRENDZ
  • BLANK2Y
  • LABOUM
  • AILEE

Yong Yong

Yong Yong sang a total of 5 songs:

  1. Die for u
  2. All – in
  3. Sleep with another (featuring Kid Wine)
  4. Vanilla Sky (featuring Han Yohan)
  5. RAIN STAR *:・ﾟ (별비그대 *:・ﾟ)

Starting with Die for u, she sang this sweet song featuring her amazing vocals. Despite being alone, she conquered the whole stage w.ith her presence. Yong Yong introduced herself as a musician and artist and the MC made sure to note she showcases a variety of skills and talents.

Moving forward, she says that she’ll be coming out with a variety of art, not just music, in the future so be sure to expect that and that she’ll continue to work hard.

MustB

MustB performed 4 songs:

  1. Realize
  2. Love Formula
  3. Veil
  4. Diamond

MustB shared their feelings and thoughts about their first international performance in Romania which they were grateful for having been sold out. In Dubai, they found the fans to be passionate and earnest; also adding that they went to an aquarium and the desert during their free time where they rode an ATV.

Hi-L

Hi-L sang to 4 songs:

  1. Too Too
  2. Always
  3. Beautiful Night
  4. Hi – Way

hi-l – too too summer electronic cute performance debuted just last year hi-l – always featured more of their vocals hi-l – beautiful night hi-l – hi-way

BLANKY2

BLANKY2 came on stage and performed 3 of their songs and 1 cover of a song from The BOYZ:

  1. Thumbs Up
  2. Thrill Ride by The BOYZ
  3. Constellation
  4. Touch

They came on first with their newest song, ‘Thumbs Up’. During the chat segment, they even did introductions and messages in Japanese and Chinese for their fans. Later on, they even showed and taught their Thumbs Up dance point before moving on to ‘Constellation’, a more intimate song for their fans.

TRENDZ

TRENDZ appeared on stage and did 4 songs:

  1. WHO
  2. CLIQUE
  3. Trauma
  4. TNT

Off the bat, the MC guessed that the group’s name is related to the Generation Z trends to which TRENDZ praised him for guessing so accurately. The members shared that since their energy is very high, they are a bit nervous. Upon request, TRENDZ also explained a bit about their ‘WHO’ dance point to the MC, who also tried it for himself.

LABOUM

To top off the show, LABOUM arrived to sing 4 of their songs:

  1. Kiss Kiss
  2. AALOW AALOW
  3. Hwi Hwi (휘휘)
  4. Journey to Atlantis

Starting off with their sweet and refreshing visuals with Kiss Kiss, to which they further elaborate is a loving song that everyone liked so it has a lot of meaning to them. Following their chat segment, they follow through with the addictive AALOW AALOW before they moved on to Hwi Hwi (휘휘) which is more of a sweet and heart-attack (심쿵) song. They finish off by saying they feel good to perform like this for everyone who is watching all over the world.

Wrapping Up

Despite the technical difficulties and unintentional broadcasts, the whole experience, we would say, is a whole new playing field for concerts and the Kpop industry itself. The event should open up more opportunities for virtual event grounds and concerts to happen, not to mention the exciting December events coming from Awesome Play NFT Festival itself! See you there!
