The day that every EXO-L has been waiting for since Baekhyun was announced to be one of Bench/’s brand ambassadors has finally come. It’s been 5 days since the #TheBestDayWithBENCH fan meeting at the Mall of Asia Arena happened and we’re mentally still there with Baekhyun. The one hour and thirty minutes we spent laughing, dancing, singing, and screaming with our fellow fans surely was not enough and we wanted more.
Here are some of the moments we’re still thinking about during our little rendezvous with Baekhyun last Sunday:
He started the night with a little ‘Good Morning’, a song from his recent album Hello, World. This sent the fans screaming at the sight of our handsome idol! He looked outright adorable all decked out in Bench/ clothing, with his fluffy hair and natural make up.
It wouldn’t be an event with Baekhyun if there wasn’t any teasing involved! Baekhyun is known to tease people a lot, it’s part of his jolly personality.
He couldn’t help but tease the fans when they mentioned that he would like swimming, but he made a rebuttal and said that he’d be wearing a bodysuit when he swims.
A little fan project was that we’d dance and show it to Baekhyun in a segment during the fan meeting, and yet when it was time to show him the dance he ended up dancing with us! At first he really had to pause because he was so confused with what the fans were doing.
He danced a bit shyly to Kiss of Life’s ‘Igloo’, and the best part was when we got Baekhyun to dance and sing to EXO’s iconic song ‘History’ LIVE in 2025! He truly sent his fans over the roof with this one. Of course, ‘Candy’ makes an appearance as well as it was definitely a crowd favorite with everyone dancing and singing along to it.
Of course our genius idol is not going to disappoint, despite only supposed to be singing 2 songs that night, he prepared a little extra and sang his recent title track ‘Pineapple Slice’ and ‘Garden in The Air’. He just couldn’t resist coming back out on stage to give the fans a little more before the night ended.
Baekhyun couldn’t leave without saying a little spoiler about his upcoming tour/concert. He mentioned that we can look forward to a concert this year! He really knows how to leave fans wanting more!
And that is how we ended a night that was truly one for the books! ‘Til the next one, Baekhyun!
