GMMTV Fan Day 8 in Manila was held at the Podium Hall last Saturday, November 18, 2023. This day was jam packed as the event was segregated into 3 parts. First was JoongDunk’s fan meeting, next was the fan sign with JoongDunk and JimmySea, and lastly JimmySea’s segment. This whole event ran from 2pm to around 10-ish pm, and the boys made sure everyone went home with smiles on their faces and contented hearts.
Let’s start with how JoongDunk’s fan meeting went. These two boys are known for their very clingy and adorable friendship as the two are close in age. Both are also very prominent English speakers so they didn’t really have a hard time communicating with the host and their fans during the event. These two started the afternoon strong with their amazing performances and high energies. They both spent an ample amount of time during their show with their fans down the stage, which by the way was one of the highlights of that afternoon.
DungJangs didn’t really have time to rest as the pair knew how to hype up the crowd with their cute antics and great synergy. Dunk, a chatterbox, told endearing stories from either the past or behind the scenes. Joong, with his incredible sexy appeal, showed their fans how well-versed he is in dancing and singing. The two of them made sure that they left no crumbs!
Joong and Dunk ended their afternoon with DungJangs fulfilled and happy with how they made sure to interact with their fans the whole time.
Let’s move on to our very calm and collected pair, Jimmy and Sea. Now these two, despite being dubbed as the calm bunch out of the four, sure made everyone clutch their chairs with how much energy and jokes they had up their sleeves. Unlike the first two boys who’s energy was somewhat unbeatable, Jimmy and Sea performed some soulful songs that truly matched their vibe. Sea even sang some songs in acapella, while Jimmy brought back a classic from Bad Buddy Series OST, “Just Friends”!
The pair even learned a little tagalog to say to the fans, and they made everyone swoon!
For their game, they played something similar to paper dance but instead of using paper, they needed to fit inside the “ring” to move on to the next level and of course to win the game. And since the two didn’t make it to the end, they had to do a consequence.
The night ended with the motto, “Amazing Jimmy! Amazing Thailand!” and “Vitamin Sea! Good for your skin.”
