SONEs, SHAWOLs, and AHGASEs gathered to experience an incredible and magical night for K-MAGIC LIVE in Manila!.
Last October 13, Filipino fans witnessed electrifying and powerful performances by legendary K-POP stars Hyoyeon, Yugyeom, and Taemin at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
HYOYEON
Girls’ Generation’s main dancer and rapper, Hyoyeon (HYO), returned to Manila after three years since her last visit in 2020 for The Exclusive DJ Set. Hyoyeon opened the concert with her latest single, “PICTURE”. The crowd was pumped up even more when she performed “DEEP” from her first mini album.
Hyoyeon recalled her memory when she visited Boracay and it was an unforgettable experience. Fans couldn’t hide their emotions when they yelled “Sa Bahay Namin” (in our houses) when Hyoyeon asked for recommendations on places to visit in the Philippines. Of course, Filipino SONEs will never forget her birthday (September 22), as they sang and wished her a belated happy birthday. She then promised to be back in the Philippines.
Filipino SONES partied and danced as she performed “SOBER“, and “DESSERT“, two of her other hit songs.
YUGYEOM
GOT7’s maknae and main dancer, Yugyeom, came next and performed “I WANT U AROUND” from his mini album Point of View. The same opening stage from his Yugyeom Live in Manila last August 2022. Fans waved their lightsticks and cheered for him as he showcased his vocal skills with the next songs “TAKE YOU DOWN” and “SAY NOTHING“.
“There are a lot of Ahgases that I could see here. There are also a lot of Hyoyeon and Taemin fans. I hope a lot have fun tonight”. Yugyeom continued to deliver magic in the crowd as he performed “PONYTAIL” and his recently released song from July 2023, “LOLO“, for the first time.

TAEMIN
Taemin, SHINEE’s maknae and main dancer, also a member of SUPERM, entered the stage with an electrifying dance move from his hit single “MOVE”. Truly a mesmerizing night as he went closer on the stage to perform “CRIMINAL”.
Taemin recalled his first visit in the Philippines, and he described Filipino Shawols as passionate and energetic. He then teased his fans with a short medley for his upcoming comeback GUILTY and told his fans to look forward to the tour schedule for his concert. Taemin showcased his vocal skills with “HYPNOSIS” and his dancing prowess with“IDEA”, and “ADVICE”.
If there is an opportunity, he promised to come back to Manila with other SHINEE members.
Truly, a night to remember for fans who attended the concert, magic was felt in every move of the idols. It was indeed one of the best Friday nights for all Filipino SONEs, SHAWOLs, and AHGASEs.
