My School President knocked us off our feet in 2023 as one of the top Thai BL series! Months have gone since the last episode aired, yet fans remain charmed with the wholesomeness and freshness of the series that they have provided!
There are a lot of notable scenarios, moments, and lessons learnt from MSP, in addition to the development of Tinn and Gun’s relationship, Chinzilla, and their bonds with their family, friends, and peers!
Here is a trip down memory lane as we get to relive some of our favorite characters and scenes from My School President!
TinnGun: Our favorite enemies to lovers
Gun may believe that they were enemies who fell in love, but Tinn regarded it as unrequited love. Tinn was always there in the distance, supporting him quietly when he needed it and never asking for anything in return. Tinn has frequently daydreamed about him and attempted unsuccessfully to confess to him. It was without a doubt one of the most wholesome things we have ever witnessed when they developed friendship in the series! They can surely rely on one another and work out any misunderstandings. One of the sweetest aspects of their relationship has to be how it evolved from enemies to friends to lovers.
SoundWin: Our favorite enemies AND lovers
Even though SoundWin initially fought and despised one another, they eventually came to depend on and find solace in one another! Them being in a relationship with each other did not stop them from hating each other though. The dynamics of their relationship is just too cute! Haha!
TiwPor: Our secretly dating couple
Who could ever resist Por’s cuteness? Obviously Tiwson! Tiwson has always been supportive of his best friend, Tinn, and Por has consistently been optimistic throughout the series, offering support to his band members. They are both positive and dependable, nearly reflecting each other’s personalities. Without a doubt, it led to them establishing affection in each other! It was amusing when viewers began to see signs about them secretly dating each other!
Familial Relationships
One of the most endearing features of the entire series was the interactions between members of families. Gun’s mother was the most important person in his life. It was obvious that he gave his mother his all and always prioritized her whether acting or choosing a course of action. He always made an extra effort to be considerate and caring toward her. On the other hand, his mother is a very strong support system for him and is extremely welcoming and caring toward him.
While some people are able to connect to their relationship, others can relate to Tinn and his mother’s relationship, which is not really distant, but also not close enough to tell some things easily. They may not be as outspoken about their relationship as Gun and his mom, but they are there for one another when things are tough and care deeply about one another.
As they always say, Mom knows best!
Tiwson and Tinn: underrated friendship
Tiwson has always been there for Tinn, assisting him since the day he discovered Tinn’s affection for Gun! He was there to encourage him, to give him advice, and to give him a push! Tiwson is unquestionably the best wingman! We all need a friend like him!
CHINZILLA: the best band ever!
Chinzilla is the best and cutest band ever! From classmates to bandmates, they surely had a fair share of cute moments and the right amount of chaotic moments as well! It was definitely memorable whenever they ate grilled pork barbecue after practice!
Aside from sharing a lot of silly and fun times, they were also quite serious about composing music and performing together. One of the most notable episodes was during episode 11, when Chinzilla fought with each other, saying things they should not have spoken as the competition approached. The cast demonstrated precisely that, in addition to light and fun parts, they could also execute heavy scenes. When this scene was released, fans were moved to tears. Truly remarkable!
Chinzilla’s connection is solid, enjoyable, and the cutest ever! They can be the most chaotic yet most adorable at the same time!
My School President 1st Fan Meeting in Manila
Fans loved My School President because of the show’s theme and the valuable lessons it taught them about family, school, friendship, and relationships. And aside from that, the Sodium-Radium-Potassium moments every episode made fans happy and giddy every week when the show aired! When it concluded, people yearned for the show’s second season with such nostalgia!
