Filipino Gems have finally entered the Ice Age, as MCND crushes the stage in Manila for the first Asia Tour on November 19, 2022. Members Castle J, BIC, Minjae, Huijun, and Win met fans for the first time at the SM North Edsa Skydome, about two years after their debut! And they definitely put the show in different #MOODs!
#Intense: MCND kicks off the show with a powerful performance.
The group began the concert with their latest single #MOOD, which definitely got the crowd going, with fans screaming in enthusiasm. Definitely putting them in the best mood! The energy radiated from the stage all the way to the audience! Following their recent song performance, Movin‘ and Reason pumped up the crowd even more!
#Amazed: MCND impressed their fans even more in person!
The group said “Mic On!” as they perform their other powerful songs while performing hard and sharp choreographies! Spring was one of the crowd’s favorite songs! TOP Gang certainly made the audience go wild! The PH Gems were singing along to this song even before the concert began, as it was played before the show.
#Stunned: MCND are absolutely gorgeous in person
Photos and videos could never capture how they truly appear in person. They appear surreal and stunning! Every member has a unique charm that captivates every Filipino Gem!
#Entranced: MCND can also be romantic and cute
One of the night’s highlights had to be the boys’ rendition of Iñigo Pascual‘s Filipino hit song Dahil Sa’yo. The members serenaded all the fans, making them feel ‘kilig’ with their beautiful voices and effortless singing and rapping! They also brought out their “aegyo” as they performed their adorable single, Cat Waltz!
#Emotional: A heartfelt evening for MCND and Gems
One of the night’s most touching moments came when MCND was about to perform their ballad, Back To You. A surprise video from the Gems was played, which moved the members to tears, especially their leader Castle J, who couldn’t help but cry at the sweet surprise! He actually thanked the audience for giving him a good memory.
#Playful: MCND has a little fun with his fans
MCND had many lovely interactions with the fans, from being extra playful with the fans by saying how much they adore the crowd, to throwing signed coasters to Gems, to taking phones from fans and filming themselves!
#Party: MCND is more than just a concert.
The night couldn’t get any better as they performed songs like Galaxy, Play Pungak, and H.B.C., making the fans stand and party alongside them! The entire audience let loose, standing, jumping, singing, and dancing to their songs!
#Chillin: MCND did not come to play.
With the energy bar so high, MCND did not let up as they performed their debut song, Ice Age, leaving fans unglued from their seats and partying harder! This was followed by the English version of W.A.T.1! The group ended the show with the fandom’s favorite party anthem, Crush!
MCND killed the stage with almost all of their album songs; definitely worth the money! The members waved goodbye cheerfully to the fans, and we’re sure they appreciated the warm reception from Filipino fans!
Their music undoubtedly created new dreams and allowed them to shine! They are not going to stop for sure. This gem of 4th generation K-pop has definitely captured the hearts of many, and we hope to see them perform here on a bigger stage next time!
