Ji Chang Wook, age 35, aged like fine wine. He started his venture in the industry in 2006, with musical theater. In 2010, he rose into popularity with a daily drama called Smile Again, which won him an award from KBS Drama Awards as ​​”Best Actor in a Daily Drama”. 

The breakthrough in his career peaked from 2013 until the present, 2022. He’s got dramas and movies lined up left and right, even after his enlistment back in 2017 to 2019.

1.Toghon Temür /Ta Hwan from Empress Ki

Ji Chang Wook’s character in this drama is the true love of Ki Seung-nyang, the future Empress Ki. 

Ji Chang Wook showed a new side of himself and this won him the “Excellence Award Actor” in a Special Project Drama at the 2013 MBC Drama Awards. 

2.Kim Je Ha from The K2

The iconic Ji Chang Wook as Kim Je Ha in K2 was partnered with Im Yoona who plays as Go An-na. 

He proved to live up to being dubbed as one of the best action thriller actors in the Korean Industry. This drama won him the “Best Dressed Actor Award” at the 2016 Korea’s Best Dresser Swan Awards in 2016. 

3.Noh Ji-wook from Suspicious Partner

This series is about a prosecutor, Noh Ji-Wook and prosecutor trainee, Eun Bong-hee (Nam Ji-hyun) and how they work together on a mysterious case involving a murderer. Ji Chang Wook shows all sides of himself in this drama. Serious, funny, a little jealous, and most of the time frustrated. 

4.Choi Dae-hyun from Backstreet Rookie

Choi Dae-hyun is somewhat a little different from most of the characters Ji Chang Wook played in the past. In this drama we see him as a little bit clumsy and weird despite his cold and handsome appearance. His character is also kind and sympathizes with others. Here he shows more of his comedic and romantic side. 

5.Yoon Gyeo-rye from If You Wish Upon Me

In his most recent drama, If You Wish Upon Me, Ji Chang Wook stars in this emotional drama with Girl’s Generation Choi Soo-young. Here he plays as an ex-convict who volunteers in a hospice hospital and was placed in a team that grants patients final wishes.
