March 5, 2023 was the day all I.Ds had been waiting for. Coming from last year’s successful, sold-out fanmeetings, Korean solo artist B.I is now back in Manila for his ‘L.O.L The Hidden Stage’ concert tour. Fans gathered at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) early in the day to set up B.I tarps and give away their fanmade banners and freebies to their fellow I.Ds. As the show’s start time grew nearer, I.Ds then proceeded to the Plenary Hall and patiently waited for B.I to come out.
As the lights dimmed, I.Ds gave their loudest cheers as B.I entered the stage, hyping the crowd with his opening performance.

His electrifying stage presence
B.I entered the stage with such charisma, opening the show with 3 back-to-back songs. Hitting every beat and move perfectly, his energy never faltered throughout the entire show. He performed all his solo tracks, plus a solo song from his IKON days, One and Only, during the encore, exciting new and long-time fans alike. His performance exuded a cool and natural vibe that captivated the entire crowd, highlighting his years of experience as a well-rounded artist.
His passion to communicate
During the ments of the concert, B.I did his best to communicate in English with minimal assistance from the translator. As someone who was fortunate enough to watch his fanmeeting last year, the growth and improvement was impressive, as well as his efforts to go the extra mile. He spoke with guest performer James Reid with ease, and even spilled some tea regarding his 2nd album dropping in a few months. So I.Ds, y’all better get ready for some new music from B.I!
His genuine care and appreciation for all I.Ds
At the start of the concert, B.I already hinted that he would going around the crowd, emphasizing safety to all the excited fans. As promised, he went around the audience area several times, taking photos and just being close to all IDs while also performing 4 unreleased song that may be a part of his new album. This kind of interaction is not common for K-Pop concerts, so this was truly a special moment all I.Ds would cherish. After that, a segment of the concert was allotted to present the fanmade dedication song and video to B.I. Touched by the heartfelt message and effort fans put in, B.I made sure to let IDs know how truly grateful he was.
